The Babymetal Air Force Shoes are a custom pair of shoes inspired by the author’s favorite metal band. They come in a red and black colorway, stamped with graphics across the sides. The Nike swoosh is edged in red, a nice touch for the design’s fierce implications. Outside graphics are of Babymetal band members, very detailed images with legendary expressions like “SING LIKE ANGELS” and “ROCK LIKE DEMONS” on the insides rendered in comic book-style expression. Thus, it’s a nice crossover of metal and J-pop.

The Synthetic Tumbled Leather composition is meant to be long-lasting with a natural, smooth appearance. The rubber outsole gives great traction on every surface without excess wear and tear. In addition, the shoes contain perforations for breathability and dye-sublimation printing, which means the shoe images will not fade over time. Therefore, feel free to wipe down with a damp cloth; any stains will probably be nonexistent.
